EUMETSAT and the Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES) organize the 6th Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer (IASI) Conference. It will be held in Nancy, France on 2-6 December 2024.
The conference aims to share the scientific results based on the user of the hyperspectral infrared observations from the IASI instruments on board Metop satellites. Beyond results of the impact of IASI data in weather forecasting, atmospheric composition and climate monitoring, contributions are encouraged on innovative uses of IASI data and synergies with other instruments or data fusion. Status updates will also be provided on the preparation and implementation of new infrared hyperspectral instruments such as IASI-NG, MTG/IRS, FORUM; HIRAS and GIIRS in addition to techniques such as principal components and machine learning.
