Mon, 17 Nov - Fri, 21 Nov 2025

The Very High-resolution Radar & Optical Data Assessment (VH-RODA) 2025 Workshop will be held in Frascati, Italy. The sixth edition of the workshop will provide an open forum for the new space, commercial, and institutional space sectors to discuss the latest developments in Earth Observation (EO) data quality, calibration, and validation.

The event will focus on very high-resolution SAR, optical, and atmospheric constellations, sensors, and data products, with special attention to commercial EO data providers, calibration and validation activities, and synergies between the optical, SAR, and atmospheric communities. It will also highlight standards and best practices for ensuring data quality.

Workshop topics include calibration techniques, calibration sites, fiducial reference measurements, analysis-ready data, digital elevation models, and ground control points. Further sessions will address quality control, product validation, artificial intelligence for calibration and validation, and approaches for future missions and innovative instrument concepts.
