Because of this fact, finding innovative strategies to facilitate increased production and greater yield of the produce for the local and export markets is paramount for Jamaica’s economy. The Rural Physical Planning Division’s mission is to achieve sustainability of the agricultural sector by promoting best management practices for soils and land use.
