Dominican Division for the formulation of Territorial Ordainment and Development Policies and Plans (DGODT)

The DGODT is a governmental institution that is part of the Economy, Planning and Development Secretary. It is responsible for the creation of public policies for a sustainable development of the territory, as well as for the spatial expression of the economic, social, environmental and cultural policies of the society. It is also responsible for the inter-sectorial and inter-institutional coordination among different levels of the public administration that retain decision-making power on the design, formulation, implementation, management and evaluation of the urban and rural uses of land.
