Climate Change COP16, Cancun, November 29 – December 10, 2010

Mexico welcomes delegates from State Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol, observers, international officials, mass media representatives and other participants from organized civil society.
As the host country, Mexico will promote the celebration of a plural and inclusive Conference and will facilitate the building of understanding among State Parties to ensure that COP16 and COP/MOP6 deliver concrete and effective results to tackle the global challenge of climate change. Mexico will encourage a most inclusive participation and dialogue among stakeholders, as well as the quest of common solutions.
