7th International Course on Hospital Emergency Preparedness and Response

Mon, 20 Sep - Fri, 24 Sep 2010

Location: Bangkok, THAILAND
Date: September 20-24, 2010

Disasters, natural or man-made, foreseen or without warning, have varying health effects and consequences. Survival rates of victims depend on a range of factors, including the ability of hospitals and health care facilities in general to handle the sudden influx of mass casualties and how well prepared they are to handle such emergency situations. Recognizing the need of hospitals to plan for emergencies, a group of experts in the field of health emergency management in Asia have been working with the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) to develop and implement Hospital Emergency Preparedness and Response (HEPR) courses over the years.
