The Earth Science 2019 from 22 to 23 May 2019 in Rome, Italy, will focus on current advances in the research and Technology of Earth Science & Space Technology.

The Earth Science Conference will be a multidisciplinary gathering of particpants from scientific areas such as Earth Science, Climate Change, Space Research, New Technology’s, education and policies. The forum of scientists, students and researchers from all corners of the globe, gather to discuss future science and technology. This year's European Forum on Disaster Risk Reduction (EFDRR) will take place in Rome, Italy, on 21-23 November. Participants will discuss the outcomes of the 2017 EFDRR held in Turkey and the 2017 Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction held in Mexico, and aim to address key issues that can accelerate the implementation of the Sendai Framework in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement

The event will provide an opportunity to exchange and move forward on local level resilience, economic risks and reaching the Sendai Framework 2020 priority targets.

The Φ-week event will be held from 12 to 16 November 2018. The event will consists of sessions (e.g. inspiring talks, workshops, roundtables, startup pitch, hackathons) to connect multi-disciplinary communities - from EO researchers, data scientists, non-space corporates, tech leaders, entrepreneurs, up to startups and innovators - to explore together how EO Open Science and innovation can benefit from the latest digital technologies and help shape future EO missions and services.

EMSEV (Electro-Magnetic Studies of Earthquakes and Volcanoes) is an Interdisciplinary IUGG Working Group supported by IASPEI, IAGA, and IAVCEI.

The next biennial symposium “EMSEV 2018” will be held in Potenza (Italy) 17-21 September 2018. The workshop will focus on the observation and understanding of various kinds of electromagnetic phenomena associated with earthquakes and volcanic eruptions particularly from a multidisciplinary point of view. It would be a great opportunity for students and young researchers to present their scientific research and achievements as well as a valuable occasion for the building of interdisciplinary co-operation among researchers worldwide.
