Mechanisms Guides
The Organizational Mechanisms Guides refer to graphics and descriptions of existing global and regional mechanisms that support the application of space-based information for disaster management and emergency response, such as the International Charter Space and Major Disasters, SAFER (Services and Applications for Emergency Response), Sentinel Asia, SERVIR (Regional Visualization and Monitoring System) and others.
The understanding of organizational frameworks, mechanisms, procedures and workflows is a prerequisite to bring technological assets to bear on disaster management with best possible efficiency.
