4th AMCDRR: Disaster Risk Reduction for Climate Change Adaptation - Converge & Technology, Incheon, 25-28 Oct 2010

The overarching theme of the conference is "Disaster Risk Reduction for Climate Change Adaptation", with a particular focus on (1) the convergence of DRR and climate change adaptation and (2) available information technology and green technology.

The objectives of this meeting are:

1. To review the action taken by the national governments and other stakeholders for the implementation of HFA as a follow up to the Beijing Action for Disaster Risk Reduction in Asia, the Delhi Declaration, and the Kuala Lumpur Declaration.
2. To establish a practical and problem-solving cooperation system against extreme disasters due to climate change.
3. To execute technical and tangible solutions using available cutting-edge technologies and policies for disaster risk reduction in the region.
4. To find out ways to share climate information and the technical development in the field of disaster management.
