A new booklet published on July 2nd by the Joint Board of Geospatial Information Societies (JBGIS) and the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) outlines the potential uses of geo-information technologies to reduce the impact of natural or manmade disasters and risks.
