Tropical Cyclone in Philippines
On 2 September 2009, the Active Low Pressure Area (ALPA) East of Northern Luzon developed into a Tropical Depression (Labuyo) and intensified into a tropical storm (Dujuan) on 03 September. As of 04 September, a total of 7,265 families in 32 barangays in 2 cities and 4 municipalities in the Provinces of Antique, Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental of Regions VI and VII were affected by flashflood and strong winds caused by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.
