The 33rd Asian Conference On Remote Sensing is joint organized by ?The Conference is jointly organized by Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA), Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and AARS. The conference focuses on several aspects of remote sensing for instance algorithm, image processing, GIS, disaster and natural resoures. Two concurrent activities: WEBCON2 and Summer School, are also mentioned as parts of program.

WEBCON2 is a contest for young scientists who are less than 35 years old. organized by AARS during the same days of the conference. It is aimed to promote the development of web materials which may give a future vision of the wen related to geo-information sciences. Prizes will be awarded to the three winners (Gold, Silver and Bronze) with certificates. Deadline of registration and submitting proposals is 9 November 2012.

8th ISPRS Student Consotium and WG VI/5 Summer School is the successful tradition of the previos summer schools started by ISPRS Student Consotium in 2005. It will take place during 30 November - 4 December 2012 at Burapha Univeristy (BUU), Chonburi, Thailand. The theme of of this year is Advance Remote Sensing for Coastal Zone Monitoring and Disaster Management.
