From 16 to 20 March 2015, officials from several departments and agencies of the United States of America and the United Arab Emirates Space Agency met in Washington D.C. to review a broad list of potential areas of space cooperation.

India and Mexico cooperate on remote sensing

On 22 October 2014, India and Mexico formally agreed on a cooperation in areas related to the peaceful use of the outer space, such as remote sensing and satellite communication. The pact was signed in New Delhi during the Joint Commission Meeting (JCM) presided by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs Sushma Swaraj and Jose Antonio Meade Kuribrena of India and Mexico, respectively.

UN-SPIDER RSO in Iran hosts APSCO Meeting

On 17-18 July 2012, the Iranian Space Agency - UN-SPIDER's Regional Support Office (RSO) in Iran -  hosted in Tehran the 6th meeting of the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization Council (APSCO). Members of the Council from all 9 Member States and Signatory State, namely Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Iran, Mongolia, Pakistan, Peru, Thailand and Turkey joined this event. The meeting discussed on a number of projects and the Council agreed for the establishment of an Education and Training Center of APSCO.
