Japan: JAXA successfully launched new mapping satellite Daichi-2

On 24 May 2014, the Japanese Space Agency JAXA successfully launched their new mapping satellite Advanced Land Observing Satellite-2 “DAICHI-2” (ALOS-2).

Weather Forecasting: USA and Japan to launch Precipitation Satellite in February

The American and the Japanese Space Agencies, NASA and JAXA, will jointly launch a new Earth Observation satellite in February, as was announced on 26 December 2013.
